Course Overview
Complete your Florida Safe Boating Course with U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 38. Hosted at the MIASF office, this in-person course provides U.S. Coast Guard-approved boating safety training for operating vessels on Florida waters.
Participants will learn about navigation rules, boating regulations, required safety equipment, emergency procedures, and responsible vessel operation. The course is ideal for new boaters, Florida residents who need to meet state requirements, or anyone interested in improving their boating knowledge and confidence on the water.

Florida law requires anyone born on or after January 1, 1988, to complete an approved boating safety course and obtain a Florida Boating Safety Education Identification Card before operating a motorized vessel of 10 horsepower or more on Florida waters.
